INTRODUCTION

In Kindergarten, children learn how to express themselves and represent their ideas, feelings, and knowledge in a classroom environment. It is the beginning of reading, writing, math, and science skills. Best of all, your child finds out that learning is not only meaningful, but also fun!

Children need experienced teachers who truly understand how children learn.  We believe children are naturally curious but need structured instruction to help them focus their curiosity and love of learning.  We provide a welcome and nurturing environment so children can grow socially, emotionally, academically and even spiritually!

Socially, Kindergarten teaches cooperation which is the ability to work, learn, and get along with others. There are many children in a Kindergarten class, each with distinctive personalities and backgrounds. A year in Kindergarten provides your child with the opportunity to learn patience, as well as the ability to listen to others, share, and take turns. These are skills that he will use thought out his school years.

Teaching children about God’s love for them is a foundational truth for them to understand.  In addition, Bible lessons not only teach them how to be kind and forgiving, but it helps them understand that God’s Word is our authority and source of all truth.

The elementary school includes additional classes such as Physical Education, music, library, art and computers. Also, flag football and cheerleading are available to interested students starting in the 5th grade.
